UCI Minority Graduate Research Conference in

Biomedical Sciences

Friday November 16, 2007

The conference is designed to encourage and prepare prospective applicants for the graduate programs offered by the School of Biological Sciences at UC Irvine. The conference will focus on stimulating the interaction between faculty and students through faculty panels and presentations on research opportunities in each of the graduate programs. Conference activities include a description about graduate programs, a faculty panel on research opportunities, a graduate student panel, one-on-one consultation with faculty during lunch, a campus tour and funding opportunities. Undergraduate seniors, post baccalaureate and master's students are strongly encouraged to attend.

Travel funds are available for individuals traveling from northern California and out of state. To apply, please download, complete and sign the Travel Funds Application Form (deadline was October 15, 2007).
