Another MSP student from the laboratory of Dr. Luis Mota-Bravo received the 2018 National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) award. Tiffany Batarseh is the third student from this laboratory that has received this prestigious award. The GRFP is one of the most competitive awards for funding with 12,000 applicants each year. This award is given to high-potential, early-career scientists and engineers, and it supports their graduate research training in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.
Previous MSP GRFP’s awardees from the laboratory of Dr. Dr. Luis Mota-Bravo were Sarai Finks and Karissa Gallego, who received their awards in 2017.
